We are thrilled to see, that our new album “the way through” still gets amazing reviews, a lot of great feedback.

we´re so happy to see that growing community of CYRILists 😉

But there`s another – very important – announcement.

We like to thank our drummer Clemens Litschko for 7 years with CYRIL. He decided to leave the band – because after our first ever gigs – that went so well! – its clear for us to go the way with even more power. Due to his little family and his own projects Clemens sadly will not find the time to constantly support the band with his skills and time. All the best, Clemens, and many thanks for your drumming that made the music of CYRIL unique.

After some research we are nevertheless happy to present a new drummer:

Florian Graf will take the drumsticks and he will be part of CYRIL now.

We want to give him a warm welcome!

We cannot wait to write and rehearse with him.

New album “the way through” is just released, and we already got fantastic reviews.

First ever gigs of CYRIL at WInters End festival (UK) and Artrock-Festival (DE) went well….

Germany’s melodic prog band Cyril are to release their third studio album on the 1st April 2019. Following on from Gone Through Years (2013) and Paralyzed (2016), the new album, with story and lyrics written by Guy Manning (Damanek, UPF, ex-Tangent) will be titled The Way Through. The album is about a patient in intensive care caught between life and death.

The album offers the complex melodies and progressive instrumental arrangements for which they have become known and has been produced and composed by Marek Arnold (keys/sax, ssttgd, Toxic Smile, Flaming Row, ex-Star Combo Meissen), with Denis Strassburg (bass) and Manuel Schmid (voc/keys, Star Combo Meissen). The CD will be released by Progressive Promotion Records and will again welcome Larry B. (voc, Toxic Smile), Ralf Dietsch (gtr), Clemens Litschko (drums) and other guests. Martin Schnella (Flaming Row) completed the final mix.

Dear friends, here are some news for you!

All the main recordings for new albums are done, and at next step Marek recorded the voices of Larry and Manuel at B`side-Music. Like on last album, Mr. Guy Manning ( of Damanek, UPF, Ex- Tangent ) wrote the lyrics for the album. Now, last editings will be done and album will be mixed soon. Release planned for early 2019 – hopefully right in time for……
